About DC&C

We are a country western dance group based in Madison, Wisconsin. Since 1993, Dairyland Cowboys and Cowgirls has hosted scores of country dances, with instructions, canoe trips, rodeo trips, dance invitational trips, potlucks, and rural barn dances around Wisconsin.

We are a community based collective dedicated to the promotion of country western dancing in a safe environment without discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation.

As a community oriented group, we are volunteer-driven in all aspects of our programs including dance instructions, disc-jockey skills, community outreach, IT resources and support, charity events and the promotion of greater awareness of country-western dancing in Wisconsin. Group members are strongly encouraged to sign up as volunteers in any areas of their relative expertise or experience that match the listed needs.

Dance lessons for all skill levels are given every Monday night at Club 5 located at 5 Applegate Court, Madison, Wisconsin. We also dance every third Saturday of the month at the same venue.

Suggestions for guest instructors, DJs, music selection, and special events are warmly welcomed. Previous experience, partners, and western wear are not required – only a desire to have a great time. Consider yourself invited!
